I love Stila's Smudgepots. They are an awesome eyeliner and eyeshadow in one. This holiday collection includes

I always use an eyeshadow primer even if I'm only applying eyeshadow because it keeps the oils from your eyelid under control. A great simple look consists of kitten as the all over eyeshadow, and the black or starry night as a top and bottom liner. It makes it look sort of pin-up girl if you wing the liner.
